The Strategy Department at IE University´s Business School invites applications for a tenure-track position in Strategic Management, effective September 2020. We are looking for candidates with a PhD in Management or a closely related discipline. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
We are looking for candidates with a PhD in Management or a closely related discipline. Candidates should have a clear research focus on Strategic Management. We have a preference for candidates doing research in the areas of competition, innovation, diversification, internationalization, non-market strategy and organizational design. Candidates should have the ability to publish in top-tier peer-reviewed international journals, to teach core and elective undergraduate level courses, to interact and work closely with faculty from other disciplines, and to provide intellectual leadership in the area.
Our department faculty members have a diverse set of research interests, and have published in top academic journals including the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Management Science, Journal of Management Studies and Journal of International Business Studies, among others. Our department members have won prestigious research grants like the ERC Starting Grant and the Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellowship. Our faculty includes an Associate Editor of the Academy of Management Journal and Editorial Board members of the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, and the Journal of Management Studies.
