The Management Department of the School of Business Administration at The University of Mississippi invites applications for a faculty position in Management. This is a tenure track position at the assistant/associate professor rank.
Duties: To teach undergraduate, MBA, and doctoral level courses in management and to perform duties assigned by the Dean of the School of Business Administration and Chair of the Department of Management. Applicants with a specialization in either OB or HRM will be considered. The normal teaching load for this position for a research-active faculty member is 2/2 (6 credit hours per each semester, Fall and Spring) with the option to teach summer courses for additional pay subject to course and funding availability.
Required Qualifications: To be considered for this position, the applicant must have an earned doctorate degree in Management (or hold ABD status with expected degree completion prior to August, 2020) from an AACSB accredited or well-regarded program. Candidates should possess a proven track record of original research and publication in quality/recognized management journals and must provide evidence of a strong commitment to scholarship, effective teaching, and service. No candidate will be considered who does not meet the departmental AACSB standards for Scholarly Academics (SA).
The School of Business Administration is accredited by AACSB and offers programs at the undergraduate, MBA and PhD levels. Approximately 3,300 undergraduate, 75 MBA and 25 PhD students are currently enrolled in the School.
