The Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in the Policy & Law area, commencing July 1, 2020. The position is subject to budgetary approval.
Qualifications for this position include a PhD, or completion of a PhD within one year, in Strategic Management or General Management. Although we invite applications from individuals doing research and teaching in all mainstream areas of general management, preference will be given to applicants with active interests in in strategic management and international business. Successful candidates must have:
Demonstrated potential for exceptional research, including the ability (a) to publish in top-tier journals and (b) to maintain a highly productive and coherent research agenda;
The ability and willingness to effectively teach core courses in strategic management and international business at the BBA and MBA levels;
A demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a teaching team to ensure consistency across sections in a multi-section courses;
A demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively and enhance a culture of inquiry, collegiality and creativity.
