The Faculty of Economics of the Università della Svizzera italiana in Lugano (Switzerland) invites applications for a full-time tenure track-Assistant Professor post from candidates with research interests in Organization Theory.
The ideal candidate holds a strong potential for publishing in leading journals in the field of management, and demonstrate the ability to teach and work in a multi-cultural environment. Preference will be given to candidates with a research agenda that focuses on macro-level organizational phenomena and with a Ph.D. about to be completed or recently completed. The new professor will be part of the Institute of Management and Organization and is expected to contribute to undergraduate, master’s and Ph.D. programs, as well as to supervise doctoral students.

The teaching load for Assistant Professors is 1.5 semester course annually.
Professors reside in Ticino, which is part of the Italian-speaking area of Switzerland. The new professor is expected to provide consistent participation in the academic activities of the university.
Salary and contract
The salary is competitive and within a range established by University regulations. The exact amount will be defined depending on experience and academic qualifications.
