The Department of Management in the College of Business at Kansas State University is seeking to hire one (1) tenure-track Assistant Professor in Human Resource Management beginning August 2020. Responsibilities generally include conducting and publishing academic research, teaching two courses per semester, and assisting with the service mission of the department.

A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a Management-related field from an AACSB accredited Business School (or must be within 6-months of degree completion at the start of the contract)
Demonstrated potential for conducting high-quality research and publishing in high-quality journals in the Management discipline
Demonstrated potential for high-quality teaching in the Human Resource Management area
Ability to contribute to the service mission of the college
Ability to work with diverse groups
Strong research records as demonstrated through publications in top academic journals and presentations at national academic conferences
Prior university teaching experience in human resource management
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Related professional work experience
Demonstrated ability to teach one or more of the advanced courses in HRM such as
Compensation & Performance Management
