As the Entrepreneurship Assistant Professor, you will teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels (as applicable), be involved in course and curriculum development, be responsible for developing a program of research, and participate in College and University committees and/or initiatives. The teaching requirement is three classes per semester. We seek a candidate who desires to be as effective at teaching as they are scholarship, and who enjoys mentoring student entrepreneurs. The position starting date is August 2020.
While FGCU does not offer tenure, it does have a comparable promotion system to tenure-granting institutions. Assistants can be promoted to Associates and then to Full Professors. The 3-year rolling contract has many benefits over the traditional tenure system.

Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship or relevant field from a regionally accredited institution.
