We have multiple positions available including in International Business / Strategy, Organizational Behaviour / Human Resource Management, and Business Economics. Successful applicants will be expected to contribute to teaching and research in the respective fields, next to university service when appropriate. We are looking for candidates with experience in teaching in English-speaking higher education institutions, with an international outlook and experience, and with evidence of potential to produce high-quality research.
Job Outline: The successful candidates will be expected to deliver lectures and seminars across all years of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes; to supervise undergraduate, masters and potentially doctoral dissertations. In addition, there are excellent opportunities for research, and the persons appointed will be expected to develop their own research activities and to contribute to the research activities of the School.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Research
To undertake original research in an appropriate area.
To publish research in top-level peer-reviewed journals.
To seek external research funding as appropriate.
To forge collaborative research links within and outside UNNC as appropriate.
To help create an atmosphere which is conducive to good research.
To undertake student research supervision.
To prepare and deliver lectures, seminars/tutorials at either undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
To participate in the assessments for initial and higher degrees and diplomas at UNNC.
To contribute to course and curriculum development and design, including course management (where appropriate).
To support and comply with UNNC teaching quality assurance standards and procedures.
To contribute to interactive and innovative approaches to teaching
To contribute to the management of our educational programs if appropriate
To liaise, as appropriate, with academic and administrative colleagues at NUBS UK and/or NUBS Malaysia
To act as a personal tutor for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
To take part in and contribute to staff development activities consistent with continuous professional development.
Any other duties appropriate to the post.

In the 2019 Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities for Management, NUBS China by itself was ranked #11 in the world for international collaboration and #63 for research impact measured by citations. Our annual PhD intake is 25-30 new students with about half supported by university scholarships.
