Primary Job Duties: The successful candidate will primarily teach graduate-level courses in Health Administration. Secondary teaching assignments may be at the undergraduate- or graduate-level in Business Communication, Organizational Behavior, International Management, Human Resources, and/or Strategic Management. Candidates will assist with the administration of the Masters in Health Administration program and engage with alumni and professional organizations. Candidates will also be expected to maintain an active research agenda and engage in University service. The normal teaching load is 9 hours per semester.
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must hold a PhD in Management or Business Administration from an AACSB-accredited institution with an emphasis in health administration or a closely related field or a DHA from a CAHME-accredited institution. Candidates who are ABD at time of application may be considered, but only if in position to successfully defend their dissertation by the date of appointment. Candidates must have a demonstrated track record of or show an ability to publish in peer-reviewed management or health administration journals and have experience teaching at the undergraduate- and/or graduate-levels. Candidates must demonstrate experience with and/or a commitment to working in diverse environments and/or with students from diverse backgrounds. Consideration for professional experience will be commensurate with time and level of experience.
