The College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno is seeking to fill a 9-month, full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor in Business Management (rank commensurate with qualifications) for an appointment starting 7/1/2020. Primary teaching responsibilities for this position will likely be doctoral seminar classes in research methods and statistics, as well as, undergraduate courses in OB, HR, International Management, or Advanced Management topics based upon department needs and the faculty member’s strengths. The University of Nevada, Reno is a Carnegie R1 (Doctoral Universities – Very high research activity) institution. Management faculty members are expected to actively engage in high quality research and mentor Ph.D. students.

The Management area consists of fourteen full-time members. Our faculty conduct high quality research and publish in Management’s best journals. Management faculty also actively participate in the MBA and online Executive MBA programs and take pride in being excellent in the classroom. In the fall of 2019, the Management department began offering classes for a new Ph.D. degree in Business with a focus on Management.
