Management: Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management The College of Business and Management at Northeastern Illinois University invites applications for one tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank in Management. This position will start in Fall 2020.
Minimum requirement: Applicants should have received a Ph.D./D.B.A degree in an appropriate field from an AACSB-accredited school with a strong program of scholarly research by the starting date of appointment. ABDs will be considered for a non-tenure-track initial appointment.
Qualifications: The successful candidate should be able to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in entrepreneurship, strategic management, small business management, and other management courses in our programs; conduct quality research; and participate in service activities to NEIU community. Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and research is required. Relevant business experience will also be helpful.
The successful candidate will also be expected to take a leadership role in the College’s Business Innovation and Growth (BIG) Center. Preferred qualifications for this responsibility include, but are not limited to, demonstrated skills in entrepreneurship, fundraising, and effective project completion.
