The Department of Management in the College of Business at Kansas State University is seeking to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship or Strategy Management / Entrepreneurship beginning August 2020. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
A PhD or equivalent degree in Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management or a closely-related field from an AACSB accredited Business School (or must be within 6 months of degree completion at the start of the contract)
Demonstrated potential for conducting high-quality research and publishing in high-quality journals in the Entrepreneurship and/or Management disciplines
Demonstrated potential for high-quality teaching in the Entrepreneurship or Strategic Management areas
Ability and willingness to contribute to the programming associated with the Center for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship and the Center for Principled Business
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups
Strong research record as demonstrated through publications in top academic journals and presentations at national academic conferences
Prior university teaching experience in Entrepreneurship or Strategic Management with evidence of teaching success
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Related professional work experience
Ability and willingness to lead, develop, or administer programs for the Center for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship and/or the Center for Principled Business
