Our Doctorate in Business Administration program is currently looking for an energetic and knowledgeable individual to fill a full-time faculty position (rank commensurate with qualifications).
This is a residential position located in Bellevue, Nebraska and has significant and direct student contact. The position is best filled by an enthusiastic, well-rounded and engaged teacher/practitioner interested in a residential full-time faculty position.
Primary Function: The primary function of this full-time faculty position is to teach, update, and maintain courses in the Doctorate in Business Administration degree program. The position supports the College of Business and University programs at the Doctorate level. The primary teaching area available for this position includes Doctoral Research Project courses (equivalent to dissertation classes) and may include teaching an additional course(s) in areas of expertise such as Managing the Challenges of Organizational Development & Change, Human Capital Development, Strategic Marketing Decisions, Innovation, Creativity & Market Disruption, Quantitative and Qualitative Research.
Teach and maintain engaging doctoral courses in the DBA program including the Doctoral Research Project courses (equivalent to dissertation courses). .
Teaching must reflect new development, knowledge, and technology specific to the DBA.
Teach online in engaging, new and innovative delivery approaches at the doctoral level.
Coach, mentor, and evaluate adjunct faculty in select DBA courses.
Collaborate with program faculty in the review and use of assessment and other analytic data to improve curriculum, student performance, and teaching strategies.
Actively engage in research (both of a practical and/or theoretical nature) for energizing classroom experiences and, also, for maintaining and remaining academically and professionally qualified.
Participate in the College of Business and University community with service on committees.
An earned DBA or Ph.D. in Business Administration, Management (or closely related discipline) from a regionally accredited college or university.
Documented experience in teaching doctoral students and serving on dissertation/thesis committees.
Evidence of successful teaching experience, preferably in an online learning environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to energize and actively engage students in the learning process.
Ability to work with international students who come from diverse cultures and backgrounds, for whom English is a second language.
A record of research publications and presentations.
The ability and desire to maintain an active research agenda.
This position requires the faculty member to office at the Bellevue University Campus in Bellevue, NE. This is not a virtual faculty position.
