The Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee invites applications for a full time Lecturer position (non-tenure track) in Management to commence in Fall 2020.
Qualified candidates will possess a Ph.D. Degree in Business or closely related field specializing in Management or an allied area. Required qualifications also include an active research pipeline in Management or related area, with a strong interest in teaching courses in Management. Preferred qualifications include prior teaching experience in Management and expertise in people analytics, innovation and/or organizational behavior. Preference will be given to candidates who possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as evidenced in teaching evaluations along with the ability to work collegially and collaboratively within the University.
The primary responsibilities in this position will be to provide teaching excellence for a three-course load or its equivalence for all academic semesters in Management at the Lubar School of Business as well as maintaining an active research pipeline for AACSB accreditation. Additionally, the selected candidate will contribute to the mission of the Lubar School by serving as the Director of the Lubar School’s Business Scholars Program. In this role, the individual selected is expected to mentor and advise scholar students, serve as thesis advisor for scholar students, teach scholars courses, and manage the scholars program. The lecturer will also provide service to the area, School, and University.
