Assistant Professor of Business Management Penn State New Kensington invites applications for a faculty position, Assistant Professor of Business Management, (tenure track 36-weeks) to begin August 2021. Duties Include: • Teach a range of introductory and upper-division undergraduate courses (typically 9 credit hours per semester) for the B.S. degree in business; the selected candidate may contribute to our B.S. degree in project and supply chain management dependent upon the candidate's field of expertise. A Ph.D. in management or business administration is required. ABD candidates will be considered if there is a clear completion date before August 1, 2021. Employment will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. Prior college-level and online teaching experience is strongly preferred. Broad teaching expertise in areas such as leadership and motivation, management and organization, strategic management, or international business will be important to this position. Demonstrated commitment to high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment is expected. Interest in active and collaborative learning, the instructional use of technology, and hybrid and online teaching is an advantage. Enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary environment is important. The coursework for the first two years of more than 160 Penn State baccalaureate majors is offered, as well as 10 baccalaureate degrees and 5 associate degrees.
