Duties: To teach undergraduate courses in management at regional campuses and to perform duties assigned by the Dean of the School of Business Administration and Chair of the Department of Management. The normal teaching load for this position for a faculty member is 3-4 (9 credit hours one semester and 12 credit hours in the other semester, Fall and Spring) with the option to teach summer courses for additional pay subject to course and funding availability. Some courses will involve multi-site video conferencing and other non-traditional delivery methods. While effective teaching is the primary responsibility for this position, the incumbent must maintain “Scholarly Academic” (SA) qualification which requires the publication of at least two refereed journal articles in a five-year rolling window.
Required Qualifications: To be considered for this position, the applicant must have an earned doctorate degree (or hold ABD status with expected degree completion prior to August 2021) from an AACSB or well-respected business program in Management. Candidates should possess a record that demonstrates the capability and commitment to be an effective instructor and to publish management research sufficient to maintain SA status.
The School of Business Administration is accredited by AACSB and offers programs at the undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. levels. Approximately 3,300 undergraduate, 125 MBA, and 25 Ph.D. students are currently enrolled in the School.
