Must have an outstanding record of publishing high quality research in top management journals.
Must have a proven record of excellence and impact in teaching undergraduate and graduate business students.
Should have publication and teaching records consistent with excellence as a senior management scholar.
Teaching load is four courses a year.
Should have research and teaching interests in entrepreneurship, organizational theory, organizational behavior, or strategy. All theoretical emphasis and research methods are welcome.
Must be willing and able to teach a variety of undergraduate and master’s-level courses in management that may include: entrepreneurship, organizational theory, organizational behavior, strategy
The successful candidate will be expected to (1) conduct research that leads to high quality publications in top-tier journals; (2) mentor and co-author with junior faculty and potential doctoral students in their research activities, (3) design and teach cutting-edge courses to undergraduate and/or graduate students (average of four semester-length courses each year); and (4) participate in college and university service activities commensurate with experience and rank.
Must be willing and able to cross disciplinary boundaries in the Marriott School and help BYU Marriott accomplish its key strategic priorities around extending the reach of the school across campus and the world and provide mentoring to an increasingly diverse student body.

The Department of Management consists of an Entrepreneurship group with 7 full-time faculty members, an OB/HR group with 15 full-time faculty members, and a Strategy group with 9 full-time faculty members. The department is highly collaborative, and candidates can expect access to, and engagement with, the entire department.
The Marriott School of Business enrolls approximately 2100 undergraduate and 1200 graduate students. Brigham Young University enrolls over 33,000 students from all over the world. Several BYU Marriott and BYU Programs consistently rank at or near the top in external surveys of quality.
