Farmingdale State College invites applications for Lecturer in Business Management at the Lecturer level. Excellent communications and collaboration skills are required. Ability to teach from among a range of courses such as Introduction and Advanced Data Analytics, Visual Analytics, Business Intelligence, Business Data Management, Social Media Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Financial Analytics, and Supply Chain analytics.
Lecturers are responsible for teaching 15 contact hours per semester and service to the department and the School which would include activities such as advising students and serving on departmental committees. Business Lecturers are also responsible for maintaining their professional qualifications (Instructional Practitioner as defined within the Business department's accreditation faculty qualifications documents). The successful candidate will demonstrate an interest and high level of competence in teaching.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
MBA with a specialization in Business Analytics or M.S. in Business Analytics or a closely related field with an emphasis on Data Management, Data Science, Data Visualization, or Marketing research analytics from a regionally accredited college or university, and appropriate work experience that would qualify the individual as an Instructional Practitioner.
Candidates will be expected to maintain qualifications as an Instructional Practitioner (or higher, e.g. SP, PA, or SA) as per the Business Management department's faculty qualifications guidelines.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
College teaching experience in a business school setting.
Significant work experience in Business analytics.
Expertise and ability to teach in at least two or more of the following areas in addition to the Introductory Analytics course: Visual Analytics, Business Intelligence, Social Media Analytics, Marketing Analytics and Supply Chain Analytics.
This is a full-time, 10 month, non-tenure track faculty position.
For the first 10 working days, beginning Monday, September 13, 2021 and ending Friday, September 24, 2021, applications will be limited to UUP Farmingdale.
