Job Summary The School of Management in the College of Business and Economic Development at the University of Southern Mississippi invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Human Resources Management to begin in August 2022.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability and willingness to teach undergraduate and graduate (MBA) courses in Human Resources Management and related fields, publish in high-quality business journals, and serve the school, college, university, and profession through committee assignments and other appropriate avenues.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Human Resources Management or closely related field from an AACSB-accredited institution and have teaching and research interests in Human Resources Management, and/or related areas. ABD candidates will be considered if the degree will be completed prior to the starting date for the position. Candidates must have teaching experience and be able to support our teaching needs in our undergraduate and MBA programs. Candidates must be eligible for employment in the United States.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Demonstrated ability to publish in high-quality peer-reviewed academic journals and an active research agenda is required.
Preferred candidates will have teaching experiences in and be willing to teach Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Principles of Management, and/or in related sub-disciplines in Management.
