The Department of Health Services Administration in the School of Health Professions at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) invites applications for a full time, open rank, tenure-track faculty position.
Essential qualifications include expertise and experience in one or more of the following health care management-related disciplines: management, organization theory, operations management, human resources, quality improvement, outcomes measurement, population health, leadership. The ideal candidate will have earned a terminal degree in a relevant discipline that qualifies for mentoring students and teaching in our various programs. Candidates at the rank of Assistant Professor or above will be considered. Highly qualified doctoral students who will complete their degree by Fall 2022 will also be considered. Candidates should demonstrate a strong portfolio or capacity to do research and scholarship. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

We also have a large, AUPHA-certified undergraduate program in Healthcare Management and conduct tailored continuing education programs with the field of practice.
