FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Performs teaching and research duties, which may include clinical instruction. Clinical Professors are highly-experienced practitioners or teachers who hold full-time, non-tenure track positions.

The Lehman College School of Business at Lehman College seeks to fill a Clinical Professor position in entrepreneurship in the Department of Management and Business Innovation.

The candidate is responsible for developing and teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in entrepreneurship and related classes, including minority-owned small business management. The candidate will assist the Chair in developing the entrepreneurship program, student clubs, as well as collaborate with local entrepreneurs, small businesses, and related organizations like the Small Business Development Center. Evening and online teaching are required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree and a record of achievement in a profession or field of expertise related to teaching assignments. Also required is the ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.

The successful candidate will have a DBA or Ph.D. preferred in entrepreneurship or a related field (e.g. business administration, management, marketing, international business) by August 1, 2025. The candidate must have a record of teaching excellence in entrepreneurship, and demonstrated potential for excellence in providing service to the school and college particularly in the area of entrepreneurship.

Preferred qualifications include:

· Relevant work experience as an entrepreneur or with a start-up business;

· Potential to collaborate with local entrepreneurs, small businesses, and related organizations like the Small Business Development Center.

· A proven track record in developing the entrepreneurship program.

Salary: $93,134-$99,532
