The department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Research, headed by Prof. Dietmar Harhoff, invites outstanding and motivated researchers to apply as Postdocs in Economics or Management. The term of appointment is three years, but can be extended to six years.

Researchers at the Institute are expected to independently carry out basic research in the fields of

• Innovation (with a possible focus on intellectual property rights, digitalization, economics of science, organization of innovation processes, human resources, international management, or health care)
• Entrepreneurship (e.g., entrepreneurial finance, entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial teams)
• Behavioral Foundations (e.g., incentives for creativity, innovation motives and behavior, inventor characteristics and personality)

They publish their work in leading academic journals. The Institute provides access to an outstanding research infra- structure, including large-scale databases and its own experimental laboratory. The working language is English.
