The Nanyang Business School (NBS), Nanyang Technological University invites applications for one open rank position in strategy/technology management/international business.

About the Division: The Division of Strategy, International Business, and Entrepreneurship (SIE) comprises faculty with expertise in diverse topics, including corporate and business strategy, corporate governance, entrepreneurship, innovation, international business, sustainability, organizational paradoxes, and social networks. We are dedicated in providing students with an excellent education, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to thrive in a dynamic and competitive global business environment. We deliver strategic management, business sustainability and entrepreneurship courses in undergraduate and graduate programs, enriching students’ global business perspectives, and support entrepreneurship initiatives and education in NBS and the University.
The multi-disciplinary perspectives of our faculty have led to publications in premier journals including the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review,Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of International Business Studies, Management Science, OrganizationScience, and Strategic Management Journal. We emphasize relevance in research through engagements with industry stakeholders. Our faculty provide thought leadership in assisting firm growth and entrepreneurial activities in Southeast Asia.
The Division is integrated with the Nanyang Centre for Emerging Markets (CEM) that aims to be a global knowledge hub on these markets. The Centre conducts research on pressing and timely business issues through a global research platform that involves scholars and institutions with leading expertise and access to emerging markets. Our faculty leads and joins the global research team to pursue impactful research with implications for sustained profitable growth.
Requirements: The Department has one open rank position in strategy/technology management/international business.Expertise in the area of corporate sustainability is valued. Candidates must have a minimum 3-yearexperience anddemonstrated high quality teaching at the MBA/EMBA level. A strong record of published research in premier management journals is also essential. The starting date can be flexible and negotiated although preferably in autumn 2022.
