The School of Business and Economics at Universidad de los Andes, Chile, (https://www.uandes.cl/facultad/ciencias-economicas-y-empresariales/investigacion/) welcomes applications for three full-time positions in Strategic Management, Human Resource Management, and Business Accounting, at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or be close to completion. Successful candidates should have a high-quality research record or outstanding research potential. Knowledge of Spanish is not required; course instructions can be in English. However, successful applicants are expected to learn Spanish within 3 years of the initial date of the appointment. The appointment is expected to begin in July 2023.

The School of Business and Economics fosters high-quality research in Business Administration, Economics, and Finance. Our group conducts research on a variety of topics, including industrial organization, corporate finance, strategy, innovation, micro theory, trade, and education. Our faculty has published in leading journals such as American Economic Review, Journal of Finance, Journal of Economic Theory, The Review of Financial Studies, Marketing Science, The Journal of Political Economy, and Econometrica, among others.

Our school seeks highly motivated candidates who can develop creative and innovative projects at the frontier of knowledge and who are connected to the international research community. To this end, we offer a similar package, if not superior, to the best universities in Europe and the United States, including (i) a highly competitive salary; (ii) a teaching load of three courses per year with teaching reductions conditional on research productivity; (iii) research budget for international activities; (iv) research assistants; and (v) monetary incentives for publications.
