ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, MANAGEMENT, WARRINGTON COLLEGE OF BUSINESS, UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA
POSITION: The Management Department at the University of Florida Warrington College of Business seeks to fill a tenure-track Assistant Professor position with a research focus on Organizational Behavior/Human Resource Management (OB/HR). We seek to recruit a junior colleague (ABD, assistant, or advanced assistant professor) who conducts high quality research that is publishable in top-tier journals in OB/HR. Candidates must also be able to teach effectively within the disciplines of OB/HR (and are ideally able to incorporate AI content in their classes) and help mentor PhD students for placement in research-focused universities.
This position will start in August 2026. Salary is competitive, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
BACKGROUND: The Management Department at the University of Florida Warrington College of Business is among the most productive for research according to the latest Texas A&M/University of Georgia Rankings of Management Department Research Productivity (https://www.tamugarankings.com/). For the 5-year total, Warrington’s management department is No. 4 overall. In the rankings of publications per faculty, Warrington’s management department is ranked No. 1.

Minimum requirements: Must have or anticipate receiving PhD in related fields of study before August 2026. Degrees earned from an education institution outside of the United States are required to be evaluated by a professional credentialing service provider approved by National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES), which can be found at http://www.naces.org/. Final candidate will be required to provide official transcript to the hiring department upon hire. A transcript will not be considered “official” if a designation of “Issued to Student” is visible.
